I'm Willette L. H. Holt
For as long as I can remember, I have always loved stories. Whether through books, movies, or the ones shared around the table.
To me, stories make the human experience a little easier to understand, and a little more magical to experience. It is from that instinct that I created this snail-mail community.
There is something pretty exciting about sending my writing directly to readers. No algorithm between us. No crowded feed. No publishing machine. Just one human connecting with another.
My hope is that these letters become part of your week. Whether it be a reason to strike up a conversation with a coworker at the office, something you pass along on your daily commute, or the topic of discussion at dinner parties when someone asks, “What’s something cool you’ve been into lately?”

STOLEN
Set in the 1700s, this historical fiction begins with the assassination of the last emperor of a great African empire. His daughter, Saloum, sets out to avenge her father's death. She journeys to the Holy City and takes up the life of a scholar to uncover the aristocrats who betrayed her family. But before she can claim her revenge and restore the empire, Saloum is kidnapped and sold into slavery.
